I was a member of the Justice Select Committee from November 2007 to May 2010. The committee scrutinises the work of the Department for Justice and the Secretary of State for Justice.
While I was on the committee we undertook enquiries into restorative justice, devolution ten years on, the role of the prison officer, and the work of the Crown Prosecution Service.
