For the last 18months I have been Chair of the Parliament Choir. We are a group of MPs, Lords, and House of Commons staff of all levels (and abilities) who struggle to attend rehersals for other choirs because of the peculiar schedule of the Houses of Parliament.

We reherse weekly in the delightful surroundings of the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft in the Palace of Westminster. We have a longstanding partnership with the Southbank Sinphonia an extraordinary group of young musicians, led by the even more extraordinary Simon Over.

We have recently performed in Westminster Cathedral, and Cadogan Hall, and in the next few months we will sing in York Minster and next year we will have the great privelage to sing in Westminster Hall, the oldest part of the Palace of Westminster which dates back to 1095.

Please visit the Parliament Choir website for more information on the Choir and details of upcoming performances.
